Tyler was killed yesterday in Afghanistan. I don't know any details yet. The family is from my home town. Tyler's mother and I have been friends almost all our lives, and she's also my husband's second cousin. Tyler's sister is a freshman here at Harding this year.
Tyler was a wonderful, talented young man. Such a tragedy.
