This reminds me of Mona Lisa Smiles; I show the last part of it in class when Julia Roberts is giving a lecture on the problem of gender perception in the 20th century. Great movie to showcase the inherent depiction of women circa 1950s.

I really like that movie, and one main reason, I think, is because it doesn't take the easy way out. Its depiction is complex and angst-ridden.
angst-ridden. There's a word you seldom hear.
